Plaatsmaken always focuses on sustainable alliances, based on the belief that real change can be achieved through collaboration. We have long-term partnerships with ArtEZ, Judicial system Netherlands (Palace of Justice, Arnhem), State of Fashion, Werkplaats Typografie, Theater aan de Rijn, The Hub, Radboud University, and KNUST (Extrapool).

In addition, we actively participate in various networks, each contributing in its own way to strengthening our sector. Below, you can read about the networks we are part of.

Since 2012, the platform Beeldende Kunst Arnhem (BKA) has represented all professional visual arts institutions in Arnhem (from large to small). This platform—legally established under Stichting Productiehuis Plaatsmaken—aims to increase attention and market interest for visual art among the public and businesses. BKA platform does this by identifying opportunities and responding with original projects and joint marketing. The Beeldende Kunst Arnhem network seeks to connect professional institutions and organizations in the visual arts. It works together in communication and presentation to the public. The platform collaborates closely with Beeldende Kunst Nijmegen.

Plaatsmaken is located in het Modekwartier and is a member of DOCKS.

DOCKS stands for Durven Ondernemen Centraal Klarendal & St. Marten. Its members are entrepreneurs based in these neighborhoods with their own businesses. A large part of these are creative and artisanal companies that design and create their own products. Together, we strengthen the neighborhood and advocate for the interests of the entrepreneurs.
